Lone Pine, part 2
7 May 2021

Lone Pine is not exactly a booming metropolis, but I found plenty of interesting sites to photograph as I wandered around town.

Return to part 1 of Lone Pine

A lot of wall, a lot of rocks.

Kind of an odd transformation of digital media onto a wall.

Part 1. I couldn't quite grasp the story this mural was telling, but apparently it celebrated the recent reenactment of historic events.

Part 2. Part 3 was blocked by parked cars.

Small town. Many murals.

This one seemed to show different stages of local history.

Same mural, a little farther to the right.

Still more work to be done. You can see the multi-level structure the artist uses when painting.

Detail from the mural.

Another mural, this one on a wall outside the supermarket. I hope that guy doesn't ride away on my Ogre!

Lone Pine is an interesting little town.
