Mug Shots, April 2019
Bike and rider: A Photographic Log
1 April 2019, 24 miles
Where did the second half of March go? Family obligations. Ill-timed rainstorms. Home improvement projects. A lengthy, life-threatening (or so it seemed) onslaught of coughing, sore throat, congestion, sneezing, and snot. But now it's April. A new month and a new challenge over at Cycle365. "Take a photo of you and your bike. That's the bicycle AND the rider. Best to get a photo of you actually riding your bike...."
Thus, here we have mug shots of Old Grumble-Face and the Ogre, an album of compelling reasons to refrain from viewing uncensored photographs on the Internet.
I'm told that in terms of my portrait, this is definitely my best side.
The darker it is, the better I look. The farther away I am, the better I look.
I cross the finish line with a triumphant salute.
I think I'm supposed to go in this direction....
...or maybe in this direction.
Do they make bikes for bow-legged riders?
Wait for this one to fully load (it's slow, just like me) and get the animation rolling, then watch out.
That's why they call it hi-viz.
